Tremblay Photos
Hi, I’m Lawrence — a portrait photographer based in the Lake George region of the Adirondacks, where the weather changes every five minutes and the views make it worth the wait. I specialize in capturing people as they truly are: relaxed, genuine, and comfortable in their own skin.
Most of my sessions take place outdoors, because natural light and open space bring out something special in a photograph. Whether we’re on a lakeshore, wandering a quiet trail, or standing in a field that looks flat until you realize it’s actually a hidden hill — my goal is to create portraits that feel real and alive. No stiff poses. No forced smiles. Just honest moments, good conversation, and maybe a breeze that decides to do its own thing.
While my photography began with landscapes and wildlife, I learned that the most compelling stories happen when people step into the frame. The Adirondacks remain my backbone and my backdrop, but the heart of my work is capturing personality — the glance, the laugh, the expression someone didn’t realize they made until they see it frozen in time.
If you want portraits with character, natural light, and a touch of mountain quiet, I’d be honored to work with you. Bring your family, your partner, a favorite jacket, or just yourself. I’ll handle the camera, the composition, and the wild geese that occasionally feel the need to participate.
